A clean PDF is the fastest path to a clean print. Before you send files to Printslane, export from your source app as PDF/A or a high-quality PDF, embed fonts, and set page size to the final paper (usually A4).
Leave at least 10–12 mm margins for binding. Flatten transparencies when possible, and use 150–300 DPI for images. For colour jobs, soft-proof on a calibrated screen—but remember printers use CMYK, so neon RGB colours may shift slightly.
Name files clearly (e.g. Thesis_Final_A4_BW.pdf) and note single vs double-sided in your order message. That small prep work cuts turnaround time and avoids last-minute surprises.
